I have been a customer of accelerate for 7 years now. I have had a few reviews from other advisers in that time all coming in much the same price wise. The reason why I choose to stay with Jared at accelerate is the easiness of new policies and claims. I barely have to lift a pen to a policy form and with the few claims we have had I have not had to chase anything up, Jared takes care of this and in my opinion goes above and beyond every time. These two reasons to me are what are important in a broker. Running small business it take the stress out of forms and saving time making claims happen.

It took 17 days for Accelerate Directors and Authorised Financial Advisors, Jared Fenwick & Scott Campbell, to provide me the most basic of professional courtesy of a response, (or even a receipt of acknowledgement), of my email where I raised very valid concerns with Accelerate in regards to their business methods as result of the departure of our very long-term professional, efficient and hardworking senior General Insurance Advisor and Client Manager, Elaine, (who always responded promptly to all emails and phone calls), who departed Accelerate 25/2/2019. I requested very basic information from Accelerate so I could make an informed decision whether to stay with Accelerate or take my business elsewhere to a place of my choice instead of being assigned to someone I had no knowledge of without even the basic courtesy of an introductory email from the directors of Accelerate. Accelerates response was finally made only after I informed them that if the prior response requested was not provided within 48 hours the matter would be taken further. Finally, after 17 days delay, I received an email with, "apologies for delay in Accelerate responding", "I apologize for the lack of communication". No explanation, no communication. I have found the actions of Accelerate, Jared and Scott to be discourteous, unreliable and lacking in honesty and integrity with failings in providing their very, very long-term client who has referred many clients to Accelerate over the years to be lacking in the most basic of care and very disrespectful. As result I was left with no choice but to remove all our business with Accelerate and advise all my clients referred to them over the many years to also do so. I also personally know that mine is not an isolated issue of this same nature with Accelerate post the departure of Elaine. Accelerate, without Elaine caring for us, is not a business I wish to either use myself or endorse in any manner going forward. I would recommend anyone having the same issues I have experienced with Accelerate to contact FMA (Financial Market Authority) for advice on how to proceed. If they devalue a very long-termclient who has referred many of my clients to them, what would they do to any new client even considering their business.
I've been with Accelerate for nearly 10 years and they have have been great. I've had my flat broken into and my car crashed into and the team at Accelerate were the best to deal with. They took control and helped me to sort though everything, giving me good honest advice. Definitely recommend using this team.
